Joe Biden Tells the Absolute Truth

When I heard the title of Biden's speech from last night, I suddenly thought, "Wow, that's the first real truth I have ever heard Joe Biden say!" As you know, the title of his speech was THE BATTLE FOR THE SOUL OF A NATION.  He is right, that's EXACTLY what this is!  Unfortunately he was not right about anything else he had to say.  The vitriol, the clenched fist and jaws, the intimidating presence of the U.S. Marines behind him, and the bizarre, ominous red lighting spoke volumes about his fierce agenda AGAINST the conservatives/Christians in this nation. And so, we must finally see and understand that there truly IS a battle for the soul of this nation and the BATTLE IS SPIRITUAL. 

I have been careful to stay away from politics in this Blog but friends, this has crossed over from the politial realm to the spiritual realm and it is up to us to truly see in the Spirit what is taking place in our beloved country of America (as well as other places around the world).  According to the Bible, Satan's agenda is to STEAL, KILL, AND DESTROY.  He is working through the far-Left Democrats in this country to kill babies through abortion and adults through the spirit of violence and murder, to steal and utterly confuse our younger generations through this evil deception of transgenderism and homosexuality, and to completely destroy this country through open borders, Fentanyl and other murderous drugs, and assaults on our economy. "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." All through the Scriptures our Lord makes it clear that He chooses LIFE for us, not death. His plan for His people is that we would have lives filled with His love and peace, His joy and strength, undergirded by the keeping of His commandments. 

This truly is a BATTLE FOR THE SOUL OF OUR NATION. The war is being fought in the Heavenly realms, but we are feeling the pain and the strain right here.  All these things are designed to come against GOD'S PERFECT DESIGN FOR THE HUMAN RACE: So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. A man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh. (Gen. 1:27, 2:24).  The Enemy of God rails against this perfect, beautiful design of creation and procreation. And the nation that embraces his evil agenda sets itself up for a great spiritual battle indeed. 

As I mentioned in my last blog, the Hebrew month of Elul has just begun and in the understanding of God's calendar and cycles, this is the month of repentance, leading up to Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement.  Perhaps this month we can go beyond repentance of our own sin, and begin to earnestly fast and pray for the SOUL OF OUR NATION, standing in the gap for the surmounting sin and wickedness that threatens to destroy her from the inside out. As Dr. Kevin Roberts, President of the Heritage Foundation said, "Joe Biden did get one thing right tonight—we are indeed fighting a battle for the soul of our nation. The problem is, he’s fighting on the wrong side."
