I don't know how many are aware of the solar eclipse that will occur across America on April 8, 2024. Perhaps you recall the eclipse that spanned our nation, from Oregon down through South Carolina in 2017. It is worth noting that that eclipse began in Salem, Oregon and exited the U.S. in Fort Sumter. Salem is a form of the word shalom, meaning peace. It seems that God was communicating to America a message of seven years of peace, followed by some type of civil war. In my spirit I was very much aware that in His longsuffering mercy, God was giving this nation seven years to repent from the overflowing cup of sin that has defiled us. But this repentance has not come. Abortion, transgenderism, child trafficking, homosexuality, and an abandonment of God have surely reached their fullness; not to mention the way our country is now pushing Israel to divide God's Land and establish a Palestinian state. Now it is seven years after the first Great American eclipse, and we are less than three months away from the next one.
Because this next eclipse begins its path down in the Southwest and makes a swath up through New England, some say it will form an X across America (combined with the eclipse in 2017). But since there was another solar eclipse that traversed our nation in October of 2023, it is fascinating to see that these THREE ECLIPSES ACROSS AMERICA FORM THE HEBREW LETTER ALEPH! I was awakened by the Lord in the middle of the night to share with you some amazing things the Holy Spirit has shown me about this upcoming eclipse over America this April. I have been watching and listening for signs and words from the Lord about this big event across the heavens, which I believe will bring messages of judgment over this nation. Because all three eclipses form a HEBREW LETTER ALEPH over the USA, I do believe our Mighty God must be stamping His signature on this nation, and surely marking it for His righteous judgments. Here are some more things I've gleaned in the Spirit. (I'm writing this at 4:29 a.m. on 1/29/24). The next eclipse is on 4/8/24. This equals 36. The UTC time of entry into the U.S. in Eagle Pass is 12:12:12. This equals 36! The number 12 represents AUTHORITY. King Jesus is establishing HIS authority over this nation! The number 36 in Gematria is associated with tent, tabernacle, temple, family, patriarchal family. I do wonder if the Lord is also showing us a year of the rebuilding of the Temple in Jerusalem - or if He is re-establishing America as part of His patriarchal family?! Certainly we have strayed far from that identity, especially as our government continues to push a division of the Land of Israel. But perhaps through His judgments He may restore us to our patriarchal family of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Three years (36 months from now) is 2027. In our Gregorian calendar, Passover will fall on 4/21/27 - and the Feast of Tabernacles in the new Jewish year of 5788 will commence on 10/2/27, which is a SHABBAT! Lastly, I spent some time studying the history of Eagle Pass and Shelby Park. The eagle is, of course symbolic of America, which makes it a fitting place for God's sign in the sun to commence its journey. But as I mentioned, we can re-visit the path of the 2017 eclipse and see that it exited at Ft. Sumter, pointing to civil war. Well, the 2024 eclipse enters the U.S. at Eagle Pass and I found that this town has a strong historic spiritual presence of evil and violence. It was originally a place for outlaws and slaves. But the most interesting part was this: In 1865 the Shelby Expedition of Confederate soldiers, who had REFUSED TO SURRENDER during the Civil War, crossed over the Rio Grande into Mexico. Gen. Joseph Orville Shelby ceremoniously buried a Confederate flag in the river, just off Eagle Pass. Surely this was an act of PURE DEFIANCE, and that spirit remains there today, in Shelby Park, where the stand-off is happening! It's a spirit of defiance against freedom, supporting slavery and standing against the unity of this nation. God is speaking to us, dear ones, and we must keep eyes and ears turned toward Him to know what He is saying, spending time in prayer over the United States of America. Luke 21:25: There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. Deuteronomy 28:15, 43-44: However, if you do not obey the Lord your God and do not carefully follow all his commands and decrees I am giving you today, all these curses will come on you and overtake you: The foreigners who reside among you will rise above you higher and higher, but you will sink lower and lower. They will lend to you, but you will not lend to them. They will be the head, but you will be the tail.

There are times, or seasons, for each of us when we feel distant from God. Whether it's the intense busyness of our days or the attractions and addictions to other activities, there are times when we drift away from Him. This quote by Rabbi Nachman of Breslov spoke to me today: "What if someone feels distant from God and Torah? Go to a Shabbos table and sing a melody. Sing it with zest and verve, with feeling from deep in your soul. That's the way to jump in!"
So what is the Rabbi saying? If you don't feel very spiritual, just join some others on Shabbat and sing a song? Why is God speaking to me so much about singing lately? Could it be that I hardly ever sing anymore, after forty-some years of music-filled life? As I sat pondering this, I ran across another quote from Rabbi Shraga Simmons, in a commentary on this week's Torah portion in Exodus (the passages on the crossing of the Red Sea). He wrote, "Unfortunately our lives are not equipped with background music reaching its crescendo to alert us that the "big moment" has arrived! Our only hope of escaping the confines of Egypt is to honestly confront our fears and embrace the opportunities that God gives us to grow. We cannot always know what's on the other side of the sea. But that's part of the beauty. It's our chance to become invigorated with the fullness of life!" Grow! There's that word again! There's that thread the Lord has been steadily weaving through these blogs, singing in the impeded stream, hoping to "escape the confines of Egypt." We know that Egypt in Scripture represents "the world." And the Hebrew word for Egypt, Mitzrayim, literally means a place of confinement. But are people in the world today really wanting to escape from Egypt? Or are they utterly content and satisfied to stay enslaved? It appears as if a large majority of today's population have succumbed to something called the Stockholm Syndrome. This syndrome often grips those who are in prison, where their needs are provided for, no challenging decisions to be made, no deadlines to meet. The place of confinement becomes comfortable and feels secure. This is what happened to the Israelites when God was working to free them from slavery in Egypt, and lead them to freedom in the Promised Land. Even after their miraculous deliverance through the Red Sea, the incredible manna-bread provision in the wilderness, and the Rock that brought forth enough water to hydrate millions of Israelites plus their livestock, they grumbled. They wanted meat. They complained. They wanted to go back to Egypt where they had cucumbers, leeks, and melons. They preferred the old "hot and a cot" of slavery to their new-found freedom. Bill Cloud, in his teaching today, said, "It's odd that people who are enslaved sound like people who feel entitled. Migrants coming across our border who are given free food, free cell phones, and free hotel rooms, still complain. Surely they must be entitled to more from the Government!" But many of us are waking up now and we are no longer satisfied to be distant from God or living in Egypt. We know there is a pool of God's glory and it's time to jump in! We know and believe that the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is Mighty in power and getting ready to act on behalf of those who are singing in the impeded stream, singing with zest and verve from deep in our souls! We don't know what's on the other side of our Red-Sea crossing, any more than the Israelites could know - but that's part of the beauty. If we return to Him and trust Him - wholeheartedly trust Him as the only Source we need - we will confront our fears and embrace the opportunities that God gives us to grow! Jump in! |
