This is a REPOST of mine from 1/21/2018. It seems ever more true today so I'm led to send it out again.

Oswald Chambers:  "Whenever God gives a vision to a saint, He puts him in the shadow of His hand and the saint's duty is to be still and listen. There is a darkness which comes from excess of light and that is the time to LISTEN. Never try and help God fulfill His word."

Wow. That timely word deeply spoke to me; perhaps it speaks also to you. I feel that I cannot see and I cannot hear right now in the spirit realm. I feel blind and deaf like a person groping in the dark. Yet I had not considered that it is dark in a shadow!  

Psalm 91: "He who dwells in the shelter of El Elyon (the Most High) will rest in the shadow of El Shaddai." Is that why it has felt so dark in these past few months? Because I am in His shadow?   I had thought I knew the plan He had for me and I was hurrying to get all the pieces in place. Perhaps I've been trying to help God fulfill his word!  Is it really stalled on HIS timetable? His plan? His blueprint? No, it's me...trying to shorten the process I have to go through to be ready. Oswald Chambers went on: "Abraham went through 13 years of silence, but in those years all self-sufficiency was destroyed." No more helping God to get the job done! No more thinking that I know more about the fulfillment of this vision than He does!

I saw a picture today of a sign hanging on a friend's wall. It said, "God wants to write the story of your life. Put down the pen."   Wow!

​What if I set aside all thought of this future vision and decided to be content and joyful in the present? What if I learned to accept the silence of this darkness as the shadow, the shelter of El Shaddai - the dark, quiet place of the womb where I wait for Him to bring birth?

You have me in the shadow of Your hand, Father and it is my duty to be still - and listen - and know that You are God.

I am hearing this phrase, this question, from people everywhere. Folks in my neighborhood are asking me this question and friends from Israel are writing it as well. So, when one beloved sister from Missouri wrote me this question last night, I got my Bible out to answer her in the Words of our Creator God and then realized I should pass it onto my Blog!

The question is this: "WHAT IN THE WORLD IS GOING ON?"  Especially for those of us who are my age (or close), it is hard to recognize anything from the U.S.A. we once knew. Society in this country, as well as globally, has descended so far down into chaos, sexual perversion, corruption and hatred that we become like the three little monkeys, covering our eyes, ears and mouths, trying desperately to "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil."  But it is so pervasive now, even in our neighborhoods, schools, and churches, that alarm bells keep going off in our spirits and we cry out, "OH GOD, WHAT IN THE WORLD IS GOING ON?"

Here is how He answers us in His Word:
THEY WILL EXCHANGE THE TRUTH FOR A LIE. In Romans 1 we read:
"Although they knew [about] God they  neither glorified Him as God nor gave thanks to Him, but THEIR THINKING BECAME FUTILE AND THEIR FOOLISH HEARTS WERE DARKENED. 
Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desire of their hearts to sexual impurity for the DEGRADING OF THEIR BODIES WITH ONE ANOTHER  [my note: LGBTQ-TRANS] . They exchanged the truth of God for a lie. (Romans 1:21-24). The rest of Romans 1 goes on to describe just how vile and perverted it will all become -- and now we are there.

You ask, "What is this world coming to?" There is our answer. It is coming to exactly what the LORD prophesied. He repeats it in 2 Thess 2:10 "...They perish because they REFUSED TO LOVE THE TRUTH AND SO BE SAVED. FOR THIS REASON GOD SENDS THEM A POWERFUL DELUSION SO THAT THEY WILL BELIEVE THE LIE." That is what this world is coming to; and this world, so bent on disobedience to God and the destruction of His people and His Word, will soon pass away. 

Satan is on over-drive now, in these last days, to deceive every soul he can WITH THE DELUSION, THE GREAT LIE. And what is the core of this lie?  What is the devil trying to hide from this generation? That the Holy One of Israel is the Creator of all things and He made us, MALE AND FEMALE, IN HIS IMAGE. If Satan can succeed in blinding humanity from that GREAT TRUTH, he can plummet the world into perverted darkness and chaos.  He can even confuse children about their gender, so that little boys want to be girls and little girls want to be boys. And that is precisely what is happening.

Yesterday several news sources published an announcement from the World Economic Forum. On Christianforums.com it states:
A top official with the World Economic Forum (WEF) has called for the Bible to be rewritten by artificial intelligence (AI) to create a globalized “new Bible.” Yuval Noah Harari, the senior advisor to the WEF and its chairman Klaus Schwab, argues that using AI to replace scriptures will create unified “religions that are actually correct.” Harari, an influential author and professor, made the call while giving a talk on the “future of humanity.”  According to Harari, the power of AI can be harnessed and used to reshape spirituality into the WEF’s globalist vision of “equity” and inclusivism.

 This is so chilling! And this truly does cause us, God's faithful Remnant, to cry out, "What is this world coming to?" Our God does not leave us wondering.  Last night's news programs  reported on the NATO organization's plans to use drones with nuclear payloads against Russia. The apostle Peter heard about this through the Holy Spirit over two thousand years ago! He wrote, "The Day of the Lord will come lilke a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare." (2 Peter 3:10)

But oh, what comfort WE take in God's Word and His faithfulness!!  Personally I believe we will soon be coming into a new season of miracles in the earth once again as He begins to SHOW HIMSELF IN HIS MIGHTY JUDGMENTS!! Take great comfort, friends, in His words from Isaiah Chapter 64:

Oh, that You would rend the heavens and come down, that the mountains would tremble before You!
As when fire sets twigs ablaze and causes water to boil, come down to make your name known to your enemies and cause the nations to quake before You!
For when You did awesome things that we did not expect, You came down, and the mountains trembled before You.
Since ancient times no one has heard, no ear has perceived, no eye has seen any God besides You, WHO ACTS ON BEHALF OF THOSE WHO WAIT FOR HIM.
YOU COME TO THE HELP OF THOSE WHO GLADLY DO RIGHT, WHO REMEMBER YOUR WAYS.
