The Ship is Turning

Together with millions of other God-fearing people across this world I mourn over the assassination of Charlie Kirk. And I have heard people asking, "Did God know this would happen?" Of course He knew. He knows everything about every person and every moment since the beginning of time. And I believe this is the most important thing that God knew: He knew the bullet would not silence the voice of Charlie Kirk. He knew that instead, it would cause thousands and thousands of voices to rise from their slumber and become emboldened to share the Truth of the Scriptures and the Truth about the evil that has threatened to overtake our nation. I believe a mighty army of young people is about to arise and their passion, their energy, and their love of Jesus Christ will be an unstoppable force!

I want to share with you a vision the Spirit gave me during our worship service this past Shabbat. With my eyes closed, powerful music filling the room but no one saying a word, I had an amazing vision, which I later shared with our congregation.  I saw a ship; a VERY large, old wooden ship, at sea. I asked the Lord, "What is this, Lord?" He replied, "This is America." The ship began to creak and groan loudly as it was trying so hard to make a turn. The ship was so heavy and the waves so rough that it seemed this turning would be difficult. I cried out, "Lord what does it mean? And what will make the ship turn?" I clearly heard the Voice of the Holy Spirit respond, "I tell you that the name of Charlie Kirk's organization is MY MESSAGE FOR THIS HOUR. TURNING POINT.  The ship is so heavy because the weight of the sin on this nation is heavy. But America is even right now at a TURNING POINT and you must remember what the word "turn" is in Hebrew. It is the word teshuva, which means to go 180 degrees in the other direction, to repent, to turn from your wicked ways. The ship will only make the turn through the repentance, the tears, the prayers, and the passionate worship of the people. "

I again heard a great creaking and groaning, and experienced a powerful encouragement in my spirit that all the repentance, tears and prayers of the people in America will truly somehow turn this ship back to what it was originally built to be.

As Rep. Nick Freitas said so well, "Rest with God, Charlie. Your fight is over. Ours has just begun."
