BIG ANNOUNCEMENT - Please read and share!

My long-time beloved friends, I am ready to make a big announcement!

It has been ten months since my dear husband was promoted into Glory.  I've tried to be careful during these ten months to move slowly, keep my ear attuned to the Voice of the Holy Spirit, and gradually follow His direction. I knew that my sprained ankles were keeping me from running ahead of him! But I also knew that He was imprinting upon my heart a calling that He would help me to fulfill.

My little ministry has been known as Doorkeeper Ministries for over 20 years now.  I traveled the globe under that banner, leading worship, teaching the Scriptures, and ministering to those in need. Yet, as I went through the last years of John's life with him, day by day, until the very last breath, I knew that God was continually taking me through the deep, profound lessons I would need for my NEW calling. 

God wastes NOTHING in our lives. Everything He allows us to go through is for His purposes, whether we realize it or not! I am realizing it in a very tangible way.  I have sat with and ministered to very many dying people, in hospital, in hospice, or in their homes. It always turned out to be the most holy, fulfilling work I would ever experience. And now the Lord has called me to take all this valuable, precious experience and put it into full-time practice. 

DOORKEEPER MINISTRIES IS A NEW DOOR! It will now be my deep honor and privilege to continue walking alongside the dying through the Door of Eternity. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the House of my God!  Psalm 84:10.  My new website is up and running and my heart is beating with joyful anticipation as I step into this calling. I'm hoping and praying that each of you on my Blog will take the time to visit this "new" website to see all that I will offer - and then contact me if I may ever be of service to you or a loved one in your family.  Nothing would give me greater joy!  And I will be open to traveling anywhere the Lord sends me (as I always have been!)

Under the protective caution of my Father, I will not begin this work until after November 19.  That day will mark one year since John's passing, and it seems the right time to fling open this new door and accompany others into Glory!  Thanks for visiting my site here:
