At the Edge of the Precipice

We stand at the edge of a precipice created by this Epic Fury war. In just three and a half hours from now, the United States and Israel intend to "blow Iran back to the stone age" (President Trump's words). Indeed, he calls it "the death of a civilization." What shocking words! Is this really the plan of the Holy One of Israel?  Hopefully it WILL be the defeat of the wicked, Islamic ayatollah regime in Iran; but what of the innocent, Yeshua-believing people there?

I am crying out to God for their safety! I'm asking Him for a miracle as HE protects and keeps His growing church there. They are a brave, passionate people who are willing to fight for their faith and for their freedom. 

Surely we must be just on the cusp of the seven-year Tribulation. It appears to me that seals are being broken, or will be very soon.  I stand, breathless, at the edge of this precipice, wondering what this night will unleash upon the world; for this is no longer a "regional" war, but a world war.

Even as I sit here praying for the people of Iran, Marty Goetz is singing "He is my defense, I shall not be moved." Father, I echo this song over the Iranian church.  Shield and protect them, Lord, and open up a path forward for them to come out from under the chains of slavery that have bound them for 47 years. Strengthen and encourage them. Help them to feel the prayers and genuine care of their brothers and sisters in Israel, in this country, and around the world.  We call for mighty warring angels this night, Adonai, and in the days and nights to come!
