I traveled on a
medical/evangelistic mission to Santo Domingo with a team from Omaha,
Nebraska. Two ophthalmologists,
three physicians, and two nurses joined the team. They fit 417
patients with eyeglasses, all donated by churches in the U.S., and
filled over 500 medical prescriptions. I took my keyboard, leading
the worship services in churches, at the Anglican school, and often
setting up and leading singing wherever the long, hot, tired lines of
patients waited to see a doctor! I also had opportunity to go
door-to-door in the Epiphany Church neighborhood, witnessing for
Christ and inviting people to church. Deacon Bob Snow and his wife,
Ellen, from the Anglican Diocese of Nebraska do awesome work for the
Lord in the Dominican and were a great blessing to our team as we
brought new vision to the people there, both physically and
spiritually!

that trees have leaves! He is pictured here with his
grateful family. |
